In this episode, Associate Professor Jill Benson shares insights on how she has been delivering healthcare to a remote Aboriginal community in Western Australia from her base in South Australia for the last 9 months. Jill is the Medical Director for Spinifex Health Service, Tjuntjuntjara as well as the Senior Medical Educator, GPEx, South Australia and Clinical Associate Professor, Discipline of General Practice at the University of Adelaide.
Jill provides a brief glimpse into what she can and can’t achieve via telehealth including chronic disease and mental health. She leaves more in depth discussion on the advantages and challenges of this experience for her presentation to the National Telehealth Summit on the 20-21st April in Sydney.
